Approvals

Approved by EASA PART-145 and CAA (Pakistan), our scope of approvals covers a broad range of aircraft maintenance services including maintenance checks, component services, and engine services.

Location

The PIA Engineering Complex is based at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, Pakistan - a regional hub of international trade. Our strategic location makes us the ideal choice for the Middle East, Central Asian countries, the Far East and Europe.

Our wide body hangar covers a floor area of over 12,500 square meters, and is capable of simultaneously housing two wide body and one narrow body aircraft.

A narrow body aircraft hangar is also separately located at our base.

Expertise

Our expertise is the result of years of experience. Dedication is the motto of our 801 qualified engineers, whose skills and knowledge have been acknowledged across four continents.

Our staff specializes in maintaining Boeing 737, 747, 707, and Airbus A300 B4 and A310. Our expertise also extends to Fokker and ATR regional aircraft. Our maintenance activities are backed up by specialized shops and smart logistics.

Latest Achievement

PIA Engineering is one of the pioneers in Asia to have successfully undertaken the Lap Joint Modification on Boeing 737 Aircrafts.

Our Pride

Over the recent decades, our airline has helped other airlines get off the ground. PIA has been instrumental in setting up the airlines of Malta, Emirates, Libya, Sudan, Kenya, Somalia, Malaysia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Kuwait. PIA's Engineering Complex has now also begun maintaining the assets of airlines of European origin.
