HOW TO BECOME PSA OF PIA

WHO CAN APPLY?

  • Any business registered in Pakistan and holding valid DTS
  • Has never defaulted in past
  • Does not hold IATA accreditation
  • Registered with tax authorities

SUBMIT ONLINE APPLICATION FORM ALONG-WITH SCANS OF THESE DOCUMENTS:

Business/Company registration certificate

  • DTS License (Department of Tourism Services) (For agents in Pakistan only)
  • Tax Registration Certificate
  • Latest Bank Statement of 6 months
  • CNICs owners/directors/partners
  • Staff list containing names, designations and CNIC no.s
  • Office lay out plan
  • Rent/lease agreement/Ownership document
  • IATA/UFTAA or Airlines ticketing & reservation training completion certificates of two employees
  • Undertaking by CEO/MD/Owner/Head of the entity, on a stamp paper of PKR 50/- on the format given hereunder

DRAFT OF THE UNDERTAKING BY APPLICANT OF PSA

“We the Owners/ Directors /Shareholders/Partners of the Travel Agency have never been involved in any default / bankruptcy proceedings and have/had not a financial interest or a position of management in a defaulted IATA Agency/GSA/PSA or any other business entity. We do not hold an IATA Accreditation and we do not have any commercial relationship with any competitor airline of PIACCL.

We solemnly pledge in case PIACCL accepts our application for PSA appointment, we will immediately deposit the minimum Cash Guarantee of PKR 2 million (non-interest bearing) and minimum Cash security of PKR 0.5 million”. It is further ensured that upon appointment we shall do the branding of the office as per guidelines given by the PIA.

HOW TO BECOME VIRTUAL AGENT OF PIA

VIRTUAL AGENT IN PAKISTAN

  1. Registration form (fill online)
  2. Scan of DTS License (Department of Tourism Services)
  3. Scan of National Tax Number Certificate (NTN)
  4. Virtual Agent Agreement (dully filled, signed and stamped on each page by the Applicant)
  5. Scan of CNIC
  6. Upon approval minimum Initial Top-Up amount of PKR 200,000/- for issuance of tickets.

VIRTUAL AGENT INTERNATIONAL

  1. Registration form (fill online)
  2. Scan of NICOP/ Passport /Resident Card
  3. Virtual Agent Agreement (dully filled, signed and stamped on each page by the Applicant)
  4. Minimum initial Top-Up amount equivalent to US$1000 for issuance of tickets

Note: Upon the acceptance of the online application, applicant will send the photocopies of relevant documents and original signed agreement along-with deposit receipts at the following address given or will submit it to the Country Manager/Passengers Sales Manager of PIA at the closest location.
