  • This remarks Sheet and Fares are valid for sale effective from January 1, 2011 till December 31, 2011. All passengers ticketed till December 31, 2010 at the existing fare levels of year 2010 for travel during January 1, 2011 till December 31, 2011 will be accommodated with-out any difference of fare
  • All fares are inclusive of Fiscal Surcharge. In addition any revised or new rates authorized to the stations in 2010 will also be inclusive of Fiscal Surcharges.
  • Fares ex-NYC/CHI is for travel on PK flights only. In case of interlining involved, applicable amount to be additionally charged.
  • For journey to any Domestic point in Pakistan beyond gateway point i.e. KHI, ISB, LHE and VV on International flights EX/To JFK/ORD will be charged USD 15 for OW and USD 30 for RT to/from the turnaround point.
  • Domestic Sector in Pakistan of International Tickets will only be booked in ‘H’, ‘P’ and ‘G’ RBDs in Economy, Economy Plus and Business Cabins respectively.
1. Mandatory
    I. Carrier Box to be closed on PK.
    II. Ticket will be issued with a non-endorsable, non-re-routable and non-refundable clause and cannot be altered without reference to issuing office.
    III. Confirmed reservation required for all sectors inbound/outbound prior to commencement of Journey in all Booking Classes (RBD).
    IV. Open dated & RQ tickets for OW & RT not allowed in any cabin.
    V. Ticket will be valid for travel only on the date on which passenger is holding confirmed reservation.
    VI. If the passenger contacts at the airport for purchase of tickets once flight is released from system. She/he will be issued ticket with DS status in highest RBD i.e. Y, and C in Economy and Business Cabins respectively and be allowed to take chance on the desired flight.
    However, if such passenger can not be accommodated on the desired flight as chance passenger:
    1. He/she will be liable to refund without deduction of any penalties/charges.
    2. In case passenger wants confirmed reservation on any later date/flight, then confirmed ticket will be issued without collection of COB (Change of Booking) charges.
2. Child / Infant Discount
    Infant Child

     

    Economy Cabin

    • For accompanied Infant without seat, 10% of the applicable adult fare will be charged.
    • For accompanied Infant with seat, 75% of the applicable adult fare will be charged.
    • For unaccompanied infant, 100% of the applicable adult fare will be charged.

    Economy Cabin

    • For accompanied Child 75% of the applicable adult fare will be charged.
    • For un-accompanied Child 100% of the applicable adult fare will be charged.

    Business Cabin

    • For accompanied Infant without seat, 10% of the applicable adult fare will be charged.
    • For accompanied Infant with seat, 85% of the applicable adult fare will be charged.
    • For unaccompanied infant, 100% of the applicable adult fare will be charged.

    Business Cabin

     

    • For accompanied Child 85% of the applicable adult fare will be charged.
    • For un-accompanied Child 100% of the applicable adult fare will be charged.

     

    • Policy for Unaccompanied Child & Infant will apply, for conditions refer Customer Service Plan.
3. Stopover Charges:
    • USD 50.00 per stopover (stop over occurs when the passenger does not depart from an intermediate point with in 24 hours).
    • One Free stopover at gateway point is allowed in each direction for outbound/inbound journey. For every additional stopover, charges of USD 50/-per stopover will apply.
    • Stopover Charges apply to ADULT and CHILD only. There is no Stopover Charges to be applied on INFANT.
    • CHILD discount of 75% does not apply on Stopover Charges.
4. Involuntary Down Gradation (at the airport due operational reasons):
    Business to Economy
    i. PAX originally ticketed in RBD ‘S’ DOF between RBD ‘S’ and RBD ‘T’ fare will be refunded
    ii. PAX originally ticketed in RBD ‘B’ DOF between RBD ‘B’ and RBD ‘M’ fare will be refunded
    iii. PAX originally ticketed in RBD ‘J’ DOF between RBD ‘J’ and RBD ‘K’ fare will be refunded
    iv. PAX originally ticketed in RBD ‘C’ DOF between RBD ‘C’ and RBD ‘Y’ fare will be refunded
    If the passenger is holding OW ticket the refund will be calculated on the fare charged from the passenger, in case the passenger is holding a RT ticket then the refund amount will be calculated on the half RT fare being charged from the passenger.
    However, if such passenger can not be accommodated on the desired flight as chance passenger:
5. Change of Reservation/Booking at Sales Counter:
    a) Change of Reservation to Lower RBD:
    Change of Reservation on tickets issued in Higher RBDs is not permissible for reissue in Lower RBDs for the same flight/date.
     
    b) Change of Reservation to Higher RBD:
    Applicable Change of Booking Charges along with Difference of the Sector Fare between the originally booked Lower Class and newly booked Higher Class will be charged for change of booking to Higher RBD.
6. Voluntary Up Gradation / Down Gradation at Check-In / Airports:
    a) Down Gradation:
    Voluntary down gradation not permissible at the time of Check-In and hence no Refund allowed.
     
    b) Up Gradation:
    From Economy Cabin to Business Cabin:
    Difference of fare between the paid RBD of Economy Cabin and “C” class i.e. highest RBD in Business Cabin will be charged.
7. Conditions/Penalties:

    7.2 Penalties for Regular fare classes i.e. N,T,M,K,Y,S,B,J,C
    • Reservation & Ticketing Changes (COB)/Cancellation: (Before and after departure)

    Seven (07) days Prior to flight departure:

     

    One Change of booking allowed free of charge on the entire journey, Seven (07) days prior to flight departure.

    However DOF due to change in seasonality/RBD will apply.

    For each subsequent change, COB USD 150/- will apply, in addition to any DOF due to change of seasonality/RBD.

     

    Within Seven (07) days of flight departure :

    No free change. COBUSD 150/- will apply, in addition to DOF due to change of seasonality/ RBD.

    7.3 Conditions:
    1. i. Charge(s)/Penalty(ies) apply to adult, child and infant (occupying a seat).
    2. ii. Charge(s)/Penalty(ies) shall be levied in addition to any applicable difference of fare that may be due to change of seasonality, class of travel or any other reason.
    3. iii. Refund not applicable on remaining flight(s) if ticket is utilized out of sequence.
    4. iv. Waived in Case of:
      1. Death of passenger.
      2. Death of immediate family members i.e. Spouse, daughter, son and parents.
      3. In case of hospitalization repeat hospitalization only of passengers due sickness:-
        Please note the above charges are to be waived off subject to production of following:
        • • Death/Burial certificate of passenger or any other relevant document to avoid audit objection.
        • • Death/Burial certificate of immediate family members (spouse, daughter, son and parents) or any other relevant document to avoid audit objection with the provision of necessary documents indicating relation with the deceased person.
        • • Hospitalization certificate of the passenger.
        • • All International/Domestic Stations Heads are authorized to waive of COB/No show and refund charges on production of above documents.
      4. d. Penalties pertaining to COB, Refund, Cancellation and DOF may be waived due to flight schedule disruption, cancellation of flight, mis-connection, and change in flight pattern due to operational reasons. Proper documentation is required.
    5. v. Void Charges: Not applicable.
    6. vi. In case reservation change involves more than one sector, change of booking charge will be applicable on the first unutilized coupon. For Example PAX holding confirmed reservation for NYC-ISB-NYC and desires to change both Outbound / Inbound reservation, COB charges apply only for once i.e. first unutilized coupon MIL-ISB.
    7. vii. Above Conditions /Penalties apply both on tickets issued by PIA offices and agents.
    8. viii. In case both refund and Reservation/Ticketing changes apply, only one penalty which ever is higher will be applicable.
    9. ix. In case a passenger is no-show and require a refund/change of booking then only one penalty/charge whichever is higher will be applicable.
    10. x. Change of Booking Charges on International Tickets will not be applicable in case of any Change in Reservation on Pure Domestic Sector within Pakistan.
    11. xi. In case of Refund of partially utilized tickets where OW fare in the ticketed RBD is not available, OW fare of the next higher RBD will be deducted in addition to applicable refund charges.
    12. xii. In case tickets are issued with combination of RBD’s with different Conditions/Penalties, Conditions/Penalties of the most restrictive class will apply. E.g. In case a ticket is issued with combination of RBD ‘O’ with ‘K’ or ‘O’ with ‘Y’ Conditions/Penalties of RBD ‘O’ will apply.
     
    7.4 Extension of Validity:
    1. i. 4 months to 6 Months: Charge applicable difference of fare between RT fare of 4M validity and RT fare of applicable/available RBD of 6M type fares. E.g. Charge applicable DOF between RBD O RT fare and RT fare of available RBD of 6M validity i.e. ‘N, T, M, K’.
    2. ii. 4 months to 1 Year: Charge applicable difference of fare between RT fare of 4M validity and RT fare of 1Y type fare. E.g. Charge applicable DOF between RBD ‘O’ RT fare and RBD ‘Y’ RT fare.
    3. iii. 6 months to 1 Year: Charge applicable difference of fare between RT fare of 6M validity and 1Y type RT fares.
8. Checked Baggage
    1. Free Baggage Allowance - 02 pieces, Maximum weight allowed - 28kg per piece. This policy is applicable for both Economy and Business Class. Any overweight baggage will be charged as USD 110.
    2. Excess Baggage Charges - 110.00 USD per piece. (Weight of each additional piece can be 28Kgs)
    3. Dimensions – 62 inches (L+B+H). No single piece to exceed 62 inches. Sum of 2 pieces not to exceed 107 inches. This policy is applicable for both Economy and Business Class. Any oversized baggage will be charged as USD 110.

9. The Government of Pakistan and USA requires Airlines to collect the taxes and fees in addition to our advertised fare.

10. Discounts
    1. a. Student Discount:

      10% discount will be applicable in all RBDs except ‘O’ in economy cabin only. This discount will be available through PIA offices.

      15% discount will be applicable in all RBDs except “O” (for group of 10 or more) in economy cabin only. This discount will be available through PIA offices.

      • Group conditions that ticketing & traveling together on outbound sector shall apply.
    3. c. Senior citizen Discount:

      10% senior citizen (65 Years and above) discount will be applicable in all RBDs except RBD ‘O’ and ‘S’ i.e. lowest RBDs of economy and business cabins respectively. For fare calculations / bookings following fare classes will be used.

    4. d. Disability/Handicapped Discount:

      50% discount for Persons with disability ( Physically Handicapped, Mentally Retarded, Hearing Impaired and Visually Impaired) against RBD ” Y” fare basis in Economy Cabin and RBD ”C” in Business Cabin on all RM International PK sectors except Code share flights. (Documentary proof with valid card required for ticketing)

      Disability/Handicapped (Attendant):

      25% discount for Attendant accompanying person with Disability/Handicapped will be applicable only in the highest RBDs i.e. ‘Y’ and ‘C’ for economy/business cabins respectively.

     
    The following are the terms and conditions for issuance of tickets to Handicapped;
    1. The above discount will be granted to persons with disabilities (PWD) on the basis of special Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) being issued to the PWD which carries universal logo of disable.
    2. Tickets will be issued only through PK offices.
    3. Not combinable with any other discount.
    4. Attendant will be given 25% discount against submission of certificate from authorized Doctors/Physician that the Person with disability (PWD) cannot travel without an attendant.
    5. Pakistani Nationals Living abroad/Foreign Nationals with disability (PWD) will also be allowed this discount subject to presentation of ID card issued to them by a Government authority as a proof of their disability.
    6. Tour Code ‘DIS’ to be used for ticketing.
11. Through fares to USA-district
    To construct through-fares (PK FARE + SPA ADD-ONS) from/to other USA-domestic point via JFK/ORD to/from PAK only.
         One-way Market PK fare + SPA rate less $30.00 = through fare/one way.
         Roundtrip Market PK fare + SPA rate less $60.00 = through fare/roundtrip.
